Innovative Prefabricated Clay Brick Panel System

A solid and effective

clinker facade that effectively insulates the walls

ISO-KLINK-PUR

Our system can be applied to both flat and vertical walls, whether for new construction or renovation projects. Each element is custom-made to fit the specific requirements of the building, including dimensions, insulation layer thickness, size, texture, and color of the clay brick panels.

The clay brick panels are permanently embedded into a rigid polyurethane foam board, allowing for the direct installation of prefabricated elements onto the building's walls. This simplifies and accelerates the creation of a clay brick façade.

ISO-KLINK-PUR Thermal Insulation Facade Systems consist of prefabricated facade elements composed of clay brick panels permanently embedded (during the manufacturing process) into a rigid polyurethane foam board.

The panels are mounted directly on the building’s walls using expansion anchors, and the joints between the panels are sealed with assembly foam. Once all the elements are installed, the gaps between the clay brick panels are filled with a decorative joint. The attractive appearance of the building is achieved by selecting the appropriate color and texture for the façade.

 SYSTEM APPLICATION

This system effectively insulates the walls while providing a solid and visually appealing clay brick façade with a masonry texture. It can be applied to both flat and vertical walls, whether for new construction or renovation projects. The system has been manufactured in Poland since 1996.

Traditional Load-Bearing Structures

The system is suitable for masonry structures made of concrete, hollow or solid blocks, concrete aggregates, clay hollow blocks, solid bricks, and more. The installation of system elements is well adapted to these materials.

Wooden Frame Structures

The system can be used on masonry structures made of concrete, hollow or solid blocks, concrete aggregates, clay hollow blocks, solid bricks, and more. The installation of system elements is well adapted to these materials.

Metal Frame Structures

The system can be applied to buildings or parts of facades constructed with metal frame structures. The external part can consist of CTBX plywood or WOOD-CEMENT boards. The installation process should follow the same recommendations as for wooden frame structures. The external wall can also be of BAC-STAL type. The panels are attached using special screws designed for this type of load-bearing structure.

BENEFITS OF USING

THE ISO-KLINK-PUR SYSTEM

The materials used guarantee high quality, durability, and unique elegance for many years without the need for costly repairs.
Simple and fast installation - installation work can be carried out by individuals without experience in laying clay brick.
The system can be installed throughout the year, regardless of temperature and environment.
Excellent thermal insulation properties, surpassing the parameters of previously known and widely used materials.
No occurrence of efflorescence on the clay brick panels.
Very good diffusion properties, allowing the walls to breathe.

A. General system parameters:

  • Main panel dimensions: NF: 1383 x 666 mm, RF: 1255 x 690 mm, WDF: 1245 x 704 mm, DF: 1390 x 705 mm, RF: 1383 x 690 mm.
  • Corner dimensions: 240 x 240 mm, 240 x 105 mm
  • Insulation layer thickness: from 31 mm (dependent on structural needs)
  • Intermediate layer thickness: 3 – 5 mm Facing layer thickness: 17 mm
  • Iso-Klink-Pur panel: 0.98 mm
  • Main panel weight: 25 – 30 kg (dependent on panel thickness and tile type)

B. General parameters of the materials used:

  • Clay brick tiles from Feldhaus – Klinker GmbH, dimensions: as per the manufacturer’s declaration
  • Water absorption: 2-18% Frost resistance: yes
  • Polyurethane foam board IRPUR E – 2450 A, freon-free, with HCFC 141b blowing agent
    Thermal conductivity coefficient: λ = 0.025 W / m K
    Water vapor permeability μ: 30 ÷ 60
    Density: 45 ÷ 47 kg / m³
  • Intermediate layer (quartz aggregate, known as micro-concrete)
  • Panel flatness stabilizer (fiberglass fabric)

C. Fire behavior classification

NON-FLAMMABLE SYSTEM (self-extinguishing foam)

D. Approvals for use in construction

PZH Hygiene Certificate No. HK/B/0815/01/2004
Polish Standard PN-EN 13165
Declaration of Conformity
Fire Classification 01513/18/Z00NZP

Note:

The size of joints between clay brick tiles (grout width) is closely related to the dimensions of the tiles. Due to dimensional tolerances of the tiles, the joints may vary from 10 to 17 mm. The theoretical size is 14 mm.

Foaming chamber (assembly foam injection chamber) The foam injection chamber prevents the occurrence of thermal bridging and infiltration. The seal between adjacent panels is achieved by filling the injection chamber with assembly foam.

The adjacent panels are joined together as if welded. The principle of using the injection chamber compensates for substrate irregularities, preventing potential damage caused by vibrations. The minimum ambient temperature during foam injection should not be lower than -10°C.

The system protects against the occurrence of thermal bridges between panels and provides excellent sealing of facades. The foaming chamber is designed and constructed in such a way as to allow excess injected assembly foam to flow towards the wall (inclined edges at the back of the panel). This provides an additional advantage - an additional connection that improves fastening.

Store the panels on pallets, on a flat and level surface.

  • Arrange a maximum of 20 to 30 main panels and 40 to 100 corner panels on each pallet.
  • Weight of pallet with main panels ~ 500 to 800 kg
  • Weight of pallet with corner panels ~ 400 to 800 kg
  • Wrap the panels on the pallet with UV-resistant film.
  • Place the last panel in a way that the texture of the cladding tiles faces outward.
  • Arrange the pallets in a way that the label is visible and the contents can be identified.
  • Never stack pallets on top of each other.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and water.
  • Protect accessories (adhesive, grout, assembly foam) from frost and moisture, and avoid direct contact with heat sources.
